Have you heard the latest joke...... Three people walk into a bar; a Dutchman, a Bosnian and an Accountant..... the punchline to the joke escapes me, but what I can tell you is that these same three people (CJ, Zeljka & Daryl) are currently holding down the top three rankings in the PPD 2009 footy tipping competition! What is the world coming to when CJ, a man who has been in the country for only a few months, can be already 4 tips ahead of Winters, for whom footy is oxygen. This season will be a long and grinding one though, and only those tippers with the consistency of Chris Judd and the staying power of Matthew Richardson will stand a chance of taking home the chocolates at season's end.
Speaking of which, as of this morning the total prize pool of $360 has been transferred across to Daryl in Finance for safekeeping. At the conclusion of round 22, the following prizes will be payable:
First Prize = $180
Second Prize = $120
Third Prize = $60
In the event that there should be two or more tippers on the same number of tips at season's end, the total season margin will determine placings.
