Geen dag is compleet tegenwoordig zonder huiswerk. Isis is pas op schoolkamp geweest en moet deze week Australische uitdrukkingen leren uit de tijd van de goudzoekers. We leren allemaal gretig mee :-)

- Dedicate it to the queen/ What you do with a hole in a mine where there is no decent gold
- Duffer/ A thief who would go out at night to steal gold from the mines
- Claim jumping/ Pinching someone else's hole
- Nigh fossickers/ Thiefs who raid other people's claimes (gold) at night
- Blanks/ Unsuccessful holes
Maar voor we de Engelse les begonnen hadden we een heerlijke dag. Tom straalt en is blij. Hij geeft een feest zoals hij het wil. En geniet intens.
